Pukekohe learners drive roads that most Auckland learners never see. Rural crossroads without markings, gravel shoulders, tractors and stock trucks are all normal here, and they build a kind of judgement that city-only lessons do not.
What learners find hardest in Pukekohe
Unmarked rural intersections. Working out who gives way when there is no sign and no line, at 80km/h, takes practice that town driving never provides.
